Explore the World Within with Nature’s Medicine
Welcome to a sacred journey of healing and discovery. I facilitate private one-on-one, couples, and group psilocybin ceremonies in and near Den Haag, the Netherlands. Every journey is unique, we receive the most beneficial experience when we let go of our expectations and trust the natural unfolding of the process.
Psilocybin mushrooms and truffles are part of the fungi family and are naturally growing psychedelics commonly known as “Magic mushrooms.” The recent scientific research into psilocybin’s therapeutic benefits is showing promising results. This has led to a revival of interest in psychedelics within the fields of psychology and neoroscience. So far it has shown to be an effective treatment for a range of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, post traumatic stress, addiction and end-of-life disstress.
Psychedelics are far more than effective therapeutic assistants. The word ‘psychedelic’ is translated from Greek meaning ‘soul revealing’. The word ‘psyche’ meaning soul or spirit and ‘delos’ meaning reveal or manifest. The use of psilocybin can result in deep profound experiences that have the potential to enhance your quality of life, deepen your sense of connectedness, inspire you creatively, give insights into your purpose and guide you to create a deep intimate relationship with nature.
The ancient shamanic and religious use of the fungi as a sacrament dates back thousands of years across many different cultures. The presence and ceremonial use of psychedelics is revealed by ancient art, spiritual traditions and indigenous cultures all around the world. I believe it is essential to work with psilocybin medicine with intention, humility and integrity in a safe setting with respect for its deep cultural roots and ancient traditions.
Preparation, Ceremony & Integration
The ceremonies offer a unique blend of transpersonal therapy, ancient wisdom and shamanism. Guided with attentiveness and held in a safe and nurturing environment, the ceremony invites you to embark on a profound inner journey from the confines of the mind to the expansiveness of the heart. Through storytelling, sound healing, and medicine music, we facilitate a transformative experience that honors the deep cultural roots and ancient traditions of psilocybin use as a sacrament. Together we journey towards healing, growth, and soulful expression.
Preparation
Before the ceremony, you will receive a preparation guide and we will schedule a preparation session. During the session, we will get to know each other a little better and I will answer any questions you may have. I will help you to clarify your intention and prepare you mentally and emotionally so you can receive the most from the experience.
I cannot provide medically related advice so make sure to contact your medical professional when you are taking medication.
Ceremony
The ceremony will take place in or near Den Haag. We begin the day creating a ceremonial setting with an altar anchoring our intention and a heart-opening conversation or sharing circle. After receiving your cup, I will guide you inward to connect with your body and heart so you are present and connected to your feelings when the effects begin. I will combine sound healing, medicine songs and nature sounds with shamanic instruments to deepen your journey. You will receive support and guidance when needed to create a safe healing experience.
Integration
The following day we will have an integration walk in nature or sharing circle. It is also possible to have the integration session a couple days or a week after the experience. I will create a safe space that allows you to share what came up for you, help you to receive a deeper understanding of the experience and give you the clarity you need to integrate the insights. You will also receive a deeper understanding of the concept of integration and what to be aware of in the process.
Every journey is unique, and mystical experiences are not guaranteed. We don’t always get what we want, we get what we need to grow into something new.
How did I become a guide?
I have guided 130+ beautiful people on their psilocybin journeys from all over the world. I have been facilitating at group retreats for 4+ years.
My journey of becoming a psychedelic guide was a synchronistic unfolding. I began facilitating psilocybin ceremonies in 2019, after completing my apprenticeship. I met Alice and Kerrie, at my first psilocybin retreat, gifted to me by a woman who had to give up her spot. A couple months later, Alice asked me if I was interested in becoming a psilocybin guide and learning from and working with them. I said yes and during my apprenticeship, I learned how to facilitate private ceremonies and at group retreats.
Over the years I attended different training programs and workshops in trauma integration therapy, breath work, Jungian dreamwork, energy healing, and shamanism. I have also participated in numerous ceremonies with experienced medicine women in the Netherlands, Costa Rica and Peru. A beautiful wise woman who has influenced my ceremonial work the most is Sophia, a medicine woman who comes from a long lineage of Celtic Druidism in France. She has spent the last 30 years in Central and South America learning from indigenous communities and shamans. We became friends during my stay in Costa Rica and I continue to learn from her deep embodiment and wisdom.
I am incredibly grateful for my shamanic apprenticeship with Meastra Jemma and Meastro Puma to deepen the ceremonies I facilitate with the sacred plant & fungi teachers. It is an honor to learn from the lineage ‘Seven Rays of the Sun’ coming from the Andes mountains in Peru. As a non-native student, I will never appropriate cultural ceremonies in their name or share rituals and parts of their tradition without permission. Respect and humility are essential in communion with the sacred medicines.
I believe the path to becoming a guide is to continuously learn. My three pillars are nature, knowledge, and devotion. We need to continue to nurture our relationship with nature and allow the medicine to be the teacher, seek to understand the mind, listen to the heart, and embody the wisdom we receive.
