From the sea and forest of the Netherlands to the vibrant rhythms of Costa Rica, the ancient wisdom of Peru, and the mystical stories of Greece, Sanne's journey with fungi and plant medicines has blossomed into transformative ceremonies and retreats. Sanne's own path to healing was paved with challenges—a journey through the depths of darkness that ultimately led her to the light. At just 18, she faced a heart attack and a near-death experience, unveiling profound insights into the resilience of the human spirit. Despite physical recovery, the shadows of anxiety, PTSD, and dissociation lingered. Determined to understand, she dove into the depths of trauma, seeking solace and healing.

Guided by mentors and fueled by her curiosity for holistic medicine and indigenous traditions, Sanne embarked on a journey to integrate mind, body, and heart. She studied with shamans, healers, and therapists who showed her how to work with the subconscious mind, integrate trauma, and facilitate ceremonies with intention and integrity.
